About the illustrator

Hannah lives in Oxford with her husband Ben, and their new baby daughter. Another family connection, Hannah is in fact James’ sister in-law! She has a calling that's equal parts paintbrush and pulpit: she's currently training to be a vicar. She studied fine art in Italy (cue frescoes, espresso, and very earnest sketching), and now weaves that classical eye into illustrations full of warmth and wonder.
