Christmas: Expectations vs. Reality
It’s Christmas morning. The turkey’s still frozen, the dog’s eaten something expensive and Grandma’s just accused someone of cheating at Monopoly. Peace on earth has been postponed until further notice.
Introducing Christmas: Expectations vs Reality, a jigsaw with a rather unexpected twist.
The picture you're given to guide you shows Christmas as we all expect it to be: peaceful, perfect and full of festive cheer. But the jigsaw pieces tell a rather different story. They form an entirely different illustration, revealing Christmas as we know it in reality: burnt dinners, disastrous nativities and magnificent family meltdowns.
From lopsided gingerbread houses to unfortunate encounters under the mistletoe, discover a gloriously chaotic celebration of everything that makes Christmas wonderful. Because sometimes the greatest Christmas memories are the ones that don't quite go to plan.
Featuring two entirely hand-illustrated scenes, this is a jigsaw packed with hilarious hidden details, designed to make you laugh out loud.

One half of the sibling brains behind The Original Jigsaw Co., Rachael took the scenic route into illustration… via a degree in Biochemistry and Spanish (naturally). A lifelong doodler turned professional pen-wielder, she now leads our illustration team with a sketchbook never far from reach (always Moleskine, non-negotiable). Based in London, she spends her non-drawing hours hanging off climbing walls and jotting down thoughts that may or may not become jigsaws one day.
